Whole Wheat Banana Nut Bread


1 Stick Butter (½ cup) at room temperature

1/2 c. sugar

2 Eggs room temperature

1 c. Flour

1 tsp. Baking Soda

¼ tsp. Salt

1 tsp. Cinnamon

½ c. Whole Wheat Flour

3 Large Ripe Bananas

1 tsp. Vanilla

½ c. Nuts


Cream together butter and sugar together adding one egg at a time.

Sift flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon over butter mixture and stir to blend, then sift in whole wheat flour.

Mash bananas into puree and stir into batter with vanilla and nuts.

Pour into greased pan.

Cook 50- 60 minutes at 350.
